Hey Everyone! Welcome to the official Black Noise Newsletter! We’re constantly working on projects that we think are exciting, entertaining, and captivating, but they mean nothing without an audience, and more importantly a community.
We want to start this newsletters as a way to keep our community in the know. So if you’ve ever supported our work before, here’s what’s coming up:
YO WTF LIVE!
March 14th at The PIT (154 W. 29th St., New York, NY, 10001), Black Noise presents its first sketch comedy show, Hosted by Ethan Howard with an opening performance by Pencils of Color.
YO WTF is a concept as old as Black Noise itself. Over the years, they’ve grown together and become one. If there’s one tone that connects all our projects it’s “YO WTF?” We wanted to make a sketch comedy show that gives you a taste of this tone in the most insane ways we could think of. Come see our show! And let us know if you’d be interested in us recording it!
WHITE NOISE
The directorial debut of Jacob Alexander Augustin starring Jonathan Lorenzo Price, produced by Guy-Paul Ramón Delisfort
The origin of Black Noise, the story of a black artist trying to create authentic art in a white supremacist capitalist world. The artistic battle of our time that Black Noise has always gone back to explore.
We released the trailer for this in January, held a private screening in February, and we’re happy to announce we’ve been made an official selection at Indie Short Fest! We hope to bring this film to a few more festivals, so stay tuned on our instagrams (links below). We’d love to see you at these festivals if you’re able!
WEBSITE UPDATES
We continue to update our website with the newsletter section where you’re reading our first newsletter now! We’ll continue to archive each newsletter here, so stay tuned! You can also sign up for the emailed newsletter in the contact section of the Website.
We’re also happy to add Portrait of Annie to our portfolio. Stills and the poster for the brilliant short film by Eleanor De Fer are now available to view.
